Because there are no visible joints, imprinted concrete does not have the problems from weed growth that makes block paving a difficult surface to maintain. It is often sold as low-maintenance...this is not true. Although it needs little ongoing maintenance, it is advisable to re-seal the surface every 3-5 years to keep it in optimum condition.
